- to Linden Bridge
Hi, my name is Caroline Towersey. I started working at Linden Bridge School in September 2006. I am Deputy Head of Care in the Residential Department at Linden Bridge. I have worked in Special Education since 1991, both for Lambeth and Surrey County Councils.
My background is ASD across the spectrum, SLD, PMLD and Complex Needs including specialism in associated medical conditions such as Epilepsy, Tracheotomy Care, Peg Feeding and Manual Handling. I have personal experience of ASD, and the impact it can have on family life. My professional qualifications include NNEB, NVQ3 in Children and Young People and NVQ 4 Children and Young People-for those in a Senior/Managerial Role.
My outside interests include spending quality time with my stupendous ‘Rugrats’ (Grandchildren, a biased view!!) traveling, socialising with friends and supporting Crystal Palace FC- up the EAGLES!!
I am very passionate about working with our Children and Young People, delivering a person centred approach, enabling the very best of opportunities to enable our youngsters to develop and enjoy life in a secure environment that makes them feel safe, and developing strategies to lessen the impact their ASD has on their daily lives, preparing them for their futures, and to enable each to reach their full potential.
