Governor Profiles

Deborah Grehan  - Acting Chair

I joined the Linden Bridge governing body in March 2017 as a co-opted governor. During my time at Linden Bridge my  link roles have included HR, the Semi-formal Curriculum and the Pay Committee. I also sit on the Resources & Audit Committee of the LIFT Partnership.

I am currently a full time mother to two children who attend a mainstream primary school in the local area where I am a keen volunteer. I began my career in retail management before becoming a headhunter for a boutique executive search firm.  I then spent several years in the HR function of a multi-national drinks company where my main area of focus was recruitment.

It’s my understanding that we currently have two co-opted governor vacancies.  We are particularly keen to recruit governors with backgrounds either in education or finance.

The Rev’d Theresa Ricketts – Safeguarding Governor

I joined the Linden Bridge governing body in February 2019 as a co-opted governor. My main link role is safeguarding.

I have been Vicar at the local parish church, St. Mary’s Cuddington, since November 2017. It is my delight to welcome the whole school community annually for the Christmas celebration. Prior to ordination I was a History teacher in a secondary school, having already had a career in the Civil Service.

Louise Joseph - Governor

I have been working at Linden Bridge for 5 years having come from a mainstream setting. I have been teaching for over 10 years now and although I worked in main stream I was heavily involved with the SENCO and ran many interventions. I have always had a passion for special needs and have grown and thrived working at Linden Bridge. I became a Governor last year. I have appreciated the role so far and enjoyed getting to know the ins and outs of running a school like Linden Bridge. I currently supervise 'Looked after Children' and have been provided with courses and resources to allow me to be a good and effective Governor.
